Marinner knot (קשר מרינר) is actually a hitch rather than a knot. The hitch is tied on a biner, similar to tying a belay device. It is easy to tie a marinner knot using an accessory chord, but it is also possible to use a webbing or a short rope. The hitch most commonly use for a marinner's knot is the [[Italian hitch [[. In most cases, a Marinner knot is a different use for an Italian hitch.
tying
Use a long Prussik or webbing, or a short rope. attach one end (by clipping the prussik of a loop on one end and build an italian hitch on the binner with the other end. Adjust the length, pull in all the slack and lock the hitch. if it's a rope' locking is done by tying the hitch, if a prussik or webbing, by coiling the remaining length over the prussik itself, then pushing the end between the ropes.
usage and characteristics
קשר מרינר הוא קשר לשימוש מתקדם בפתרון תקלות על חבל, כמו בחילוץ מוביל. משתמשים בו בכל מקרה בו עשוי להיות צורך להתיר את הקשר תחת עומס, ללא שימוש באמצעי חיכוך. קשר מרינר עשוי לעזור בסיטואציות של חילוץ, מתיחת חבלים והרמה והורדה של משאות או אנשים. שימוש נוסף יכול להיות בהחלצות מעיגון.
